Our Favorite Fall Accessory

With fall in place, scarves are appearing on everyone as a cute accessory while also helping keep them warm! We love low budget DIY projects, so we thought you would also enjoy these DIY scarf tutorials!

Lauren from Calico skies shows us how to make this cute tie-dye scarf!

Beginning with a white scarf made of %100 natural fiber like cotton, linen, silk or rayon, Lauren simply ties rubber bands around the scarf like this:

After adding rubber bands to your fabric, you must prepare your dye bath according to the package of the dye, followed by stirring your fabric in the water for 30 minutes in the water. After removing your fabric, carefully rinse with warm water gradually using colder water. Then all that is left is to let the fabric hang to dry!

We hope you love this simple fall scarf as much as we do!

Stay pretty!
