Nice to meet you, Logan!

Logan is one of our part-time sales associates at University Park Mall in Mishawaka, Indiana. We asked her a few random questions for you to get to know her better! Be sure to stop by and say hello to our newest holiday employee – you can’t miss her smile!

  1. What inspires you most about fashion? I would have to say I go by the saying, “if you look good, you feel good,” and for me fashion is a way I feel I can give back to others by helping them feel good about themselves. For example, I love styling my friends for any occasion and I am inspired by the satisfaction the have when I find them the perfect outfit and the way they glow in it.
  2. Name three things you can’t live without: Coffee, fashion, puppies
  3. What did you want to be when you were a kid? A fashionista in New York City or maybe a model but I always wanted to be short so I knew that it would never work out (haha).
  4. If you had to eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Sushi, I really just love it and I never get to eat it now because no one wants to make the sushi jump and try it haha
  5. Are you afraid of the dark? Most definitely!
  6. Horror or comedy? Comedy all the way.
  7. You discover and island, what do you name it? Beaute Naturelle
  8. Favorite items at Boho Pretty right now: I  am obsessed with the comfy sweaters and accessories.

New Seasons Bring Change

Wanderlust: a strong desire to travel.

Boy, did we have wanderlust this summer. We found ourselves traveling all over our Midwest region – Indianapolis to Shipshewana and Granger to Kalamazoo. We even made sure we traveled to Chicago this summer! We participated in markets, salon events, brewery and winery parties, private parties, club events, and everything in between. We made new friends and reconnected with old ones along the way, all while having fun!

Now with the seasons changing and winter on the way, our travel season is coming to a close. This time, not only making University Park Mall in Mishawaka, Indiana our home but also adding a SECOND holiday pop-up location (eeeek!) this winter. We are thrilled to announce that we are headed into Glenbrook Square Mall in Fort Wayne, Indiana with… a second camper..? While we are still working on details, we are excited for our new adventure because, well, we have wanderlust!

FALLing for Autumn

We spend all winter waiting for summer and half of summer wanting fall, but who could blame us? Getting to layer up, nice and cozy in the latest fashions in shades of olive, grey, and maroon. Oh! And how about the smell of pumpkin spice and apple cider? Or football? Or pumpkin picking? We could go on and on about all the reasons why we love fall. Here at Boho Pretty, we wanted to make sure our first fall line was captured beautifully with the idea of being nomadic (we are a travelling boutique after all!) and showing off all those things we love about fall fashion.

Our Fall 2016 line was captured by the talented Kelsey Brown of Snyder Photography. Fresh off the plane from her honeymoon, she came and captured our fall fashions with ease. Below are a few of her beautiful shots that capture all of the trends for Fall 2016 with a little bit of a Boho Pretty twist!

Windy City Days

unnamed (11)

This past weekend we packed up the camper with all our new arrivals, hit the road and headed to Chicago for the New City Fashion Truck Festival in Lincoln Park. It was a journey just getting there with the endless traffic and construction. But we made it and had the best time meeting new people and sharing the love of mobile boutiques with our fellow fashion trucks!!

The festival featured several fashion truck vendors that had unique finds and adorable fashion looks. There was even a salon on wheels in a camper! We are one of the few fashion trucks based out of Northern Indiana, so it was exciting to meet and connect with other people who have a passion for fashion and traveling too!

We love to travel and bring our bohemian fashion finds to new places, we enjoyed being apart of the event, and appreciated all the love the camper got in the city!

Boho Pretty June Style Box

IMG_2150.JPG

June already?! We waited all winter for summer and here it is.. flying by! This month in our Boho Pretty Style Box we focused on Summer 2016 trends when purchasing. These trends include muted colors, crochet and lace detailing, 90’s styles, high-necks and feminine details. We provided our subscribers with fresh brands and unique details on tops. We even went all out on the jewelry and provided fun summer accessories that will compliment almost any outfit!

IMG_2204.JPG

One of our favorite accessory styles this month are the encouragement bracelets (pictured above). We love the idea of having encouraging words to wear around all day to remind us and motivate us! The bracelets can be worn individually or stacked together for a more bohemian look.

Many boxes included dresses and rompers – with that lace and crochet detailing of course! Top styles included subtle colors while others displayed a unique print! Every box is created with the specific subscriber in mind. We communicate with subscribers on what they want for the upcoming season and what trends they look forward to trying. We even follow Pinterest boards and allow subscribers to pin our looks to give us insight on their style!

We have many exciting changes in store for the Boho Pretty Style Box, so make sure you stay tuned on all our social media sites (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) for the new changes – you won’t want to miss it!

Boho Pretty Stylist Team
